Our Story

Hi, my name is Dr. Pratt-Eugene. I’m a mother of 2 small children, wife, and board-certified Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician. I created this practice from a place of personal, spiritual and professional transformation.

Like many women, I spent years pushing through exhaustion, believing that survival was enough. In 2020, my life changed completely. During the height of the pandemic, I faced unexpected disappointments, major life transitions, and the challenge of rebuilding my vision for the future. While grieving the life I had imagined, I was also learning to embrace a new path.

Ten months later, I became a mother — a season that brought both immense joy and deep exhaustion.

Over the next several years, I gave everything I had to my patients, my training, and my family, often at the expense of myself. Somewhere along the way, I stopped thriving and simply learned how to survive.

After returning to work after maternity leave following the birth of our second child, I finally reached a breaking point. I realized I could no longer participate in a healthcare system that both treated me like a cog in a wheel and rushed patients through visits. It left so little room for true healing, connection, and presence.

So I stepped away.

With the unwavering support of my husband, I chose to slow down and rebuild a life rooted in faith, rest, joy, and sustainability. In that process, I rediscovered myself outside of being a physician, wife, or mother.

And I realized something profound:

The antidote to burnout is not doing more — it is being cared for, fully and intentionally.

This practice was born from that belief.
